Master’s Program Hosts Research Camp to Boost Academic Skills and Support Timely Graduation
Klaten, Central Java – April 24, 2025 — In a continued effort to enhance academic achievement and ensure on-time graduation, the Master’s Program in Islamic Guidance and Counseling held a one-day Research Camp on Thursday at the tranquil Umbul Kemanten site in Klaten. Themed “Enhancing Academic Skills and Study Completion Support,” the event brought together postgraduate students for an immersive experience focused on strengthening research capabilities.
The program officially commenced with opening remarks by Dr. Moh. Khoerul Anwar, Head of the Master’s Program, who highlighted the importance of research methodology in postgraduate studies. “This camp provides a valuable opportunity for students to deepen their research knowledge and cultivate a collaborative academic spirit,” he stated.
A key highlight of the day was a lecture delivered by Dr. Muhsin Kalida, Vice Dean III, who explored the fundamentals and applications of qualitative research. His session introduced students to essential techniques such as interviews, field observations, and qualitative data analysis—tools crucial for investigating complex social issues.
Held amidst the scenic natural surroundings, the camp also featured interactive discussions, hands-on research simulations, and targeted mentoring sessions. These activities were designed to give participants practical experience and build confidence in completing their theses.
